Our Roots & Vision

Founder & Collaborative Behavior Analyst

Founder & Collaborative Behavior Analyst

Behavior Balance Point, LLC was founded in 2018. The mission was to share skills and knowledge of behavior analysis with the community to increase availability to quality services. Initially, Behavior Balance Point, LLC focused on school-based, consultative services and in 2022 we shifted to include center-based services as well.

While in schools we repeatedly heard Behavior Balance Point isn’t “like other BCBAs” (board certified behavior analysts) because we listen, we consider the learner as a whole person, and we hear what other have to say. This highlighted that behavior analysts and “ABA” (applied behavior analysis) have a bad reputation and may not be providing the desired quality of services. Founder, Holly, loves behavior analysis and knows it can be used compassionately to help learners' spirits grow and shine.

Behavior Balance Point will continue to collaborate and grow so it can continue to be a place of joy, compassion, and growth for all. Join us and let your learner’s spirit soar to the highest potential!

Holly (she/her) is the mom of two rambunctious toddlers. She has been certified in the field for 10 years and considers herself to be analytical – almost to a fault. Holly loves learning which makes being a collaborative BCBA the perfect fit for her!

It is important to Holly that as beneficial to her clients as possible. This means being trauma informed, focusing on skill building (e.g., self-advocacy, leisure skills, etc.), gaining and maintaining assent, recognizing possible barriers for families, recognizing possible pitfalls of ABA interventions, and again, collaborating.

Holly has had the pleasure of working with a variety of individuals (age 18 months to 60+) in their homes, in clinics, in the community, and in schools. Her passion is working with children and their caregiver teams to help find the best ways for everyone to learn. It is her belief that skill building in key areas reduces the likelihood of not-so-great behaviors developing or continuing.

Education:

  • Colorado State University Bachelor of Arts focused on sociology with a minor in criminology; foreign language and literature – Spanish
  • University of North Texas Master of Science in behavior analysis with a focus on autism

Holly's core values: Collaboration, Transparency, Compassion, and Growth
